Imprivata(R), Inc., the converged identity and access management appliance company, has honored its top three resellers for their success over the past year. Somerford Associates of Swindon, U.K. was named iPartner of the year, while “Rookie of the Year” awards went to Sysec, Ltd. of Amersham, U.K. and VioPoint of Auburn Hills, Mich. The Imprivata iPartner Program helps reseller organizations capitalize on the fast-growing identity and access management market by offering the most innovative products available.
“The strength of our resellers has contributed directly to our customers in gaining control over their access and authentication issues,” said Omar Hussain, Imprivata CEO. “To choose just a handful from this very talented group of partners is difficult, but the contribution of these three companies to our customers and to our organization is undeniable.”
Imprivata iPartner of the year Somerford Associates has been in the iPartner Program since 2005. The company has steadily built a strong Imprivata practice primarily focused on banking, financial services and retail clients including some of the most recognizable brands in the world.
“Imprivata OneSign solves our clients’ real business issues in an elegant and effective manner, and always exceeds customers’ expectations for ease of use and functionality,” said Andy Davies, director of Somerford Associates. “That in turn has made it easy to win the trust of our customers and strengthen relationships. Imprivata is a great partner, and this award is an excellent representation of OneSign’s importance to our solutions offering.”
VioPoint, an iPartner Rookie of the Year, was instrumental in sales to healthcare and financial services customers in the Midwestern United States, including recent wins at MeritCare and Henry Ford Health Systems. VioPoint has become one of the program’s most productive U.S. partners.
Sysec, the other iPartner Rookie of the Year used Imprivata’s product strengths, with a focus on password and credential management, and identity management to serve an important role in strategic wins. The company won some significant deals with local government and UK healthcare Trusts during 2007.
“This year we have made it easier than ever for all of our partners to make the kind of impact evidenced by these companies,” said Eric Blatte, director of channel sales and programs for Imprivata. “With new incentives and cooperative marketing campaigns we are more tightly aligned with our reseller partners in reaching our mutual goal – delivering intelligent authentication and access management solutions to ensure customer success.”
